Working on landscaping....

We have been busy working outside for the past several weekends. Pulling bushes, planting new ones, shoveling out 5 yards of mulch, putting brick edging....it never ends! We still have more bushes to buy and more bushes to pull out...that will have to wait for another weekend.

However, I am happy with our progress. I found a before picture and took an after picture today. My pictures make me realize that we need to work on the rust stains on our house! You can also see the difference in quality of pictures - our old camera versus our new SLRS canon rebel. :)

Silly Ethan Make Mess...

I am not very good at writing down things that Ethan does. I don't really have a "book" for him where I write down his firsts. This blog is the only thing I've got! ;o) For me, it is easier to quickly type some of the things he does.....

so....

Ethan's first 4 word sentence:

"Silly Annan make mess." (He doesn't say the "th" in Ethan and the E sounds more like an A. I think it is so cute how he says his name)

Ethan's second 4 word sentence:

"Go see Mama Papa???" (He constantly wants to go to Grandma and Papa's house. Every time I ask him if he wants to go bye bye he asks if we are going to Grandma and Papa's. Notice he says, Mama, though. Sometimes it is hard to tell if he is talking about me or Grandma since he says them the same).

Ethan is also now going up the steps by just holding onto the railing. He can officially get up the steps like a big boy!

Ethan has braved up enough to go to the slide across the street from our house by himself. It is a bigger slide that is pretty fast. Lucky for us he now goes on it over....and over....and over...and over again!

He tries to play hide and go seek. However, he has the same hiding spot every single time! He runs away and says, "Annan hide." He goes and sits on the steps and waits to be found. Mama and Dada also hide and he runs around the house trying to find us. It is pretty darn cute.

Okay - James is telling me to go get ready so that we can go to the Brighton Farmer's Market - so more later!
