Ethan is now 9 months...! Actually, I am running a little late - so he is 9 months and 3 days. :) He is such a happy little guy. Everyone comments on how happy and good natured he is. James and I really enjoy him...just thinking about some of the things that he does makes us laugh.
Lately he has started doing some silly things! You can tell when he is excited because he bops up and down, swings his arms, and hits his legs. Of course, his mouth is wide open with a big grin. :) When he is tired he scrunches his little eyes shut - it is the funniest thing. When he is mad he makes crying sounds while he "talks" in a "mad" voice. You can't help it but laugh at him.
He has also started to smack his little lips. When I picked him up and daycare the other day they were saying, "give Momma a kiss," - and they were smacking their lips - so I guess that is where he has learned it from. He also loves to shake his head "no." I am not sure where he learned that from - but he thinks he is pretty cool when he does it. He knows that Mommy and Daddy think it is funny - so he does it over and over again.
He loves to hit things together. He has a toy called "Lulu the letter spinning spider." When you hit his tummy he sings the letters of the alphabet. Ethan loves this toy! He loves hitting Lulu's belly with whatever he has in his hand. He found out that he can make Lulu sing really fast!
Ethan is starting to wave "Bye Bye." He still needs some work at this - but he is learning!
Here is his 9 month picture....and the reason why I titled this post "crazy hair." His hair literally sticks straight up!
