Fun with our toddler :)

Here is Ethan in the Cadillac at Grandma and Papa's house. There is radio in it that he loves to jam to. :)
Who me!?

We made it through the first week of being back to school! Ethan had a pretty good week at his new center. We love his teachers and he is actually taking better naps then he did last year. The last two days he napped an hour and 40 minutes! This is a huge improvement - just not as long as he sleeps when he is at home. He is on a cot - so I am pretty impressed with this. They say that he falls asleep on his own, pretty easily. I am hoping these naps get even longer, but I am happy with his first week.

I love their routine. In the morning they play and go outside everyday. Of course, he loves it outside. They come in for snack and circle time. They read stories, sing songs, do flash cards, etc. They eat lunch and then go down for their nap. I pick him up after school and then we play until bedtime. The only bad part is I am exhausted. ;)

Ethan is a pretty funny little guy. He is doing new things daily. He recently discovered how funny it is to try to "scare" mommy and daddy. He will, all the sudden, make a loud sound and when James and I "act" startled he thinks it is hilarious. He is also cruising the furniture, now and doing more walking when we hold his hands, or he holds on to our legs. He is good at walking, but just not confident enough to do it on his own. He constantly is reaching out to grab your hand. He is finally really pulling himself up on everything, now. Although he would do this before, he didn't do it much. Now, he is doing it all of the time.

He loves to push his cars and trucks, but gets really frustrated when they hit a wall and won't go any further. ;o) He has gotten really attached to his little blanket doggy. Since he started back at daycare, he holds his doggy most of the day while he is there. He also has to sleep with it, now. We had to go to the store and get another one! One to keep at daycare and one to keep at home.

Ethan loves Dakota. Whenever we get home, and pull into the garage he can hear dakota getting excited in the house - then Ethan gets excited! He is always crawling up to dakota and trying to hug and pet her. I say that Dakota deserves any sort of bugging that she gets from Ethan. :) It is payback time!

Just this morning Ethan started taking his play cell phone and putting it up to is ear. He was jabbering away on his cell phone. He must have been talking to Daddy, because he kept saying "Hi Dadadadad." :) He is trying to say more words - now when he sees a car drive by he will point and say "car."

Here he is talking on his phone:

Here are a couple silly videos of Ethan. In the first one he is riding his new motorcycle. He loves this thing!

Here Ethan is playing with this silly batman car that we had from a McDonald's happy meal from a long time ago. There is a tiny button that you push, and this thing comes flying out. Ethan thought it was so funny. He got so excited every time it popped out. :) (Ignore my crazy noises) :)

In this video Ethan was showing off his "happy feet."
