My Husband

James is such a great husband! Not only is he sweet, and does me make me laugh, but he also has done a lot of extra things for me latley. Last night I really had a craving for a dessert, so he went out to the store to get me some dove ice cream bars (I think he really wanted some, too)! This week I haven't felt very well, so he did the grocery shopping and all of the laundry! What a guy!

I thought James deserved a little note to let him know how much I appreciate him. This card is girly, but I think he will appreciate the note, either way!

I love you, James! You are a great husband and I know you are going to be a great Dad!

21 weeks pregnant with a baby boy!

I have decided to start my own blog! I am not sure how good I will be at updating it, but I figure it will be worth a try. I think this will be a great way to record my path to becoming a "Mommy." I will probably also post about other things that are important to me, like, family, stamping, scrapbooking, etc.

Yep - I am 21 weeks pregnant! This has been a true miracle from the Lord. As soon as James and I stopped "trying" we were able to conceive. I found out the day before my birthday - November 16th. What a great Birthday present! We recently found out that we are having a baby boy. The name is a secret, so I will just call him "baby." The ladies at my stamp club were having quite a fun time trying to guess the name - they decided to call him Horton. LOL :) My students also make it a daily question - "What are you naming him?? Are you going to name him after ME?"

Here is a recent picture of our baby boy from our latest ultrasound:

Today I finally started to do some work in the babies room. We only have two bedrooms, so I had quite a lot to clear out of that room. I moved all of my stamping and scrapbooking stuff into a corner of our bedroom. Luckily, our room is quite big - so I think it will work out well. We are venturing to make the most of every space in our condo before our little one arrives. Next weekend James and a friend from church are going to start working on creating closet organizers for both of our closets! I am excited to get this started. I am very anxious to get the babies room painted and ready to go!
